Hill – John P. “Moose” Moussette, 68, of 892 Rt 3A, died Saturday, November 21, 2015 in his home after a period of failing health.
He was born on October 4, 1947 in Laconia, the son of the late Henry and Katie R. (Little) Moussette. John worked as a maintenance person for the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton a number of years ago. John was an avid musician, playing a number of instruments such as the guitar and mandolin and in younger years played in a number of bands, such as “Country Gold”. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, hiking and walking. John was a man of deep faith who enjoyed reading the Bible and attending many churches throughout the Lakes Region.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara (Hazelton) Moussette of Hill, one brother, Peter Moussette of Laconia, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers; Lionel J. Moussette in July of 2015 and Oliver Moussette.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at 1Pm on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
Burial will be private.
