TEWKSBURY - Marie Terese (Polcari) Coyle, age 51, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June
1st, at the Winchester Hospital, from an apparent heart attack. She was the wife of Michael J.
Coyle, with whom she had celebrated a 26th wedding anniversary this past March 25th.
She was born in Cambridge, November 16, 1953, a daughter of Joseph and Nathalie (Mori)
Polcari who reside in Tewksbury. She was raised in Somerville, and graduated from Somerville
High School with the Class of 1971. She had lived in Tewksbury since 1990.
She worked in the Data Processing Department for the Internal Revenue Service before becoming
the administrator for Oak Roofing Company in Burlington.
She was a member of St. Dorothy’s Church, where she had been an instructor for the CCD
program.
She was an active booster for the Town of Tewksbury Girls Softball League, especially the
traveling softball team. She was also active in the Eastern Mass Diamonds Softball League, based
in Burlington.
She was lovingly recalled by her family as “having devoted her life to her family.”
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Eric Coyle of Tewksbury; her daughter,
Gina Coyle, a student at the Wynn Middle School in Tewksbury; her brother and sister-in-law,
Joseph Polcari Jr. and Linda (Hildrbrand) of Pepperell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna
Valladares and her husband Rodney, and Lisa Emmons and her husband Scott all of Lawrence;
her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patricia Terilli and her husband Raymond of Burlington,
Daniel Coyle and his fiancé Sandi Osgood both of No. Reading, Diane Mills of Stow, Robert
Coyle and his wife Laurie (LaLiberte) of Brockton, Christine Coyle of No. Reading; and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral
Mass was held Monday, June 6, in St. Dorothy’s Church, Wilmington.
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.
