Sica, Pauline Marie (Galvin) age 82 of Milton passed away surrounded by her loving family November 21st at Seasons Hospice in Milton. In her final days she was surrounded by all her loved ones, laughing, listening to Irish Music and making everyone smile. Born in Boston, she was raised in Lower Mills, graduated from St. Gregory High School and has lived in Milton since 1963. She was the head cashier at Atlas Liquors in Quincy for 35 years retiring in 2012. She loved to read the newspaper, particularly the obituaries, going out to dinner, watching game shows, cheering on the Red Sox, especially against the Yankees, looking for a “gray haired man with a big belly”, and spending time with her loved ones. Devoted mother of Laura Penney and her significant other James Stratis of Dorchester, Nancy Georges and her husband Greg of N.C., Vincent Sica and his wife Dianne of Canton, David Sica of Quincy and Alan Sica and his wife Erika of Canton. Sister of Arthur Galvin and his wife Marjorie of Abington. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church Milton Wednesday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
