Marilyn K. Beidleman, 65 of Londonderry, NH, devoted wife of Cliff Beidleman for more than 42 years, died on November 20, 2015 at her home. Born on July 22, 1950 in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of Al and Marie (Schmidt) Gerrato. Marilyn attended Portsmouth, NH schools and graduated from Portsmouth High School in June 1968 where she was a member of the marching band. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1972. Mrs. Beidleman worked in New Hampshire as an elementary school teacher for several years and was a Title I reading instructor at South Range School in Derry, NH. Marilyn volunteered for many years in the classroom and served as PTA President in Bristol, NH. She loved to interact with children and guide them during their early years. Marilyn was a beautiful person and will always be remembered by her family as a very caring mother who always put her children first.
In addition to her husband Cliff, survivors include her father Alphonse Gerrato of Portsmouth, NH, a son Eric Beidleman and his wife Amanda of Portsmouth, NH, a daughter Karen Secor and her husband Stephen of Londonderry, NH, a daughter Kimberly Beidleman of Dover, NH, and one brother Stephen Gerrato and his wife Gail of Greenland, NH. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Brooke, Blake, and Paige Secor, and Nicholas Beidleman. Marilyn was predeceased by her mother Marie Gerrato.
At her request a private burial and service will take place at the family’s convenience at the Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Marilyn to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472 or South Range School PTA, 1 Drury Lane, Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
