Jimmie Ruth Scoggins Metcalf of Sycamore passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care in Ashburn.
Born on October 4, 1926 to the late James William and Effie Leo Smith Scoggins, she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore.
Mrs. Metcalf is survived by her sister, Leotis S. Camp of Moultrie. A host of nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Metcalf was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Thomas Metcalf and her daughter, JoAnn Metcalf.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. The Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
