Philadelphia, PA - Harlambos "Harry" Malitas, 107, formerly of worcester died April 18 after an illness.
He leaves 6 children all of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 nephews Thomas P. Malitas of Holden and Peter Malitas of South Yarmouth. He is predeceased by his wife Konstantinas Malitas. He is the son of the late Fotios and Constantina Malitas and lived in Eurpe and Worcester for several years.
Mr. Malitas worked as a shoemaker in Europe for most of his life. His brother Philip a former Worcester resident sponsored his immigration to the country.
Burial was in Lawnview Cemetery. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester is handling local arrangements.
