Regina A. (Doherty) Baird passed away peacefully her loving family by her side on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Born in Boston, she grew up in Dorchester and was educated in the Boston Schools. Regina was a Lunch Mother at the Charles Taylor School in Boston for 12 years, a former member of the K Club of Milton and former Eucharistic Minister and member of St. Elizabeth Rosary Group. She was a WWII Navy Wave veteran. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Baird. She is the devoted mother of Edward P. and his wife Kiyomi of NJ, Robert W. and his wife Diane of Dorchester, Paul M. of Norton and Michael J. Baird of Boston and the loving grandmother of Patrick and Breena Baird. Sister of the late Paul, Dave and Hank Doherty. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton Friday morning at 9:00. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Avenue, Milton Thursday 4 to 8PM. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
