Obituary

SHREWSBURY— Mary Adams (Rochette) Bundeff, 89, formerly of Brighton Rd., died on May 28th at Southgate in Shrewsbury.

Her husband of 46 years, Andrew Bundeff, Jr. died in 1989. She leaves 4 daughters, Martha A. Bundeff of Quincy, MA, Ann M. Brown, of Grayslake, IL, Margaret K. Sawyer of Dover, NH, and Elizabeth K. Bush of Eastport, ME; a son, William P. Bundeff of Cumberland RI; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 siblings, Dr. Roger Rochette, Joseph E. Rochette, Jr., Ruth Peterson, Dorothy Wyman, Robert P. Rochette, and Richard Rochette.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Dr. Joseph E. and Mary (Mellor) Rochette. She graduated from Worcester State College and also attended Clark University.

Mrs. Bundeff was a Worcester Public School teacher for 25 years. She also was a member of Adams Square Congregational Church and a past member of The Historical Society of Worcester.

Mary was a well loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor, which came through in her creativity and spirit. She was well known for her outgoing personality. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone who crossed her path. She will be remembered not only by her family and friends but also by the many school children that she touched. They will especially remember her gingerbread cookies that she baked. We are thankful for the almost 90 years she lived. Mary lived life to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3rd in the chapel of Southgate at Shrewsbury, 30 Julio Dr., Shrewsbury. Memorial contributions may be made to Adams Square Congregational Church, 26 Burncoat St, Worcester, MA 01605. Nordgren Memorial Chapel is directing arrangements.
