TEWKSBURY: Barbara C. (Morris) (Stroud) Robb, age 79, died Monday, May 30, 2005 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.
She was born in Lowell on September 19, 1925 the daughter of the late Carl and Grace (Williston) Morris.
She grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell schools.
During World War II, she worked at Fort Devens.
She lived briefly in Texas.
In 1953, she moved to the Washington, DC area, where she worked for the County Attorneys Office.
In 1965, she returned to the Lowell area and was employed as a paralegal by the Law Office of Albert Marcotte for over 20 years and retired in 1990. Mrs. Robb enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Carla Marcotte of Tewksbury and Marcia Bicknase of W. Dundee, IL; her son-in-law; Richard Marcotte of Methuen; 3 grandchildren; Lauren and Candice Marcotte of Lowell and Amber Bicknase of Oak Park, IL; 1 great grandchild; Samantha Marcotte of Providence, RI; her sister-in-law and dear friend; Irene Morris of Lowell; also many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robb was the grandmother of the late Adam J. Marcotte and Gregory D. Marcotte and sister of the late Marcia Crossely and her husband Parker and Donald Morris.
Calling hours Thursday, June 2nd from 6-8 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral services Friday, June 3rd at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
