Barbara A. (Bouchard) Cogliano, 66, of Dartmouth died November 7, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital unexpectedly.
She was the wife of the late Stephen F. Cogliano.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Preston L. and Ellen A. (Fuller) Bouchard, she lived in Dartmouth most of her life.
Mrs. Cogliano was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
She was formerly employed as a teacher at Hathaway School in New Bedford for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Cogliano enjoyed shopping with her daughter and was an avid New England Patriots fan.
She was a kind and generous person who will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Dawn S. Camille and her husband Kevin of Fairhaven; a sister, Ellen F. Correia of Dartmouth; proud MeMe of her 2 grandchildren, Harrison and Kaden; 2 nieces, Ellen Kaye Baker and Toni Williams; a nephew, Donald Joly; 1 great-niece, Kamryn Baker; and several cousins.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 12th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, November 11th from 4-8 PM.
