Randall L. "Randy" Stephens, 65, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015, in Tifton. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Stephens at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Lewis Stephens, Josh Willis, Adam Ellison, Jeffery Newell, Merle Phillips and Daniel Luke will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 3, 1950 in Nashville, Mr. Stephens was the son of the late Lewis J. Stephens and Betty Jean Adams Stephens. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stephens; and a brother, Tommy Stephens. He was a machine operator at Vulcan Industries. He served in the United States Army and fought during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Stephens is survived by a special friend, Jean Simpson of Tifton; a brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Tammy Stephens of Norman Park; a sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Daniel Luke of Colquitt County; a grandson, Josh Willis; and many nieces and nephews.
