PORT ST LUCIE, FL: Allan James MacPherson, 66, formerly of Beverly and resident of Port St Lucie, FL, owner and operator of Guaranteed Air Conditioning, died at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL on October 29, 2015. Allan fought a tough fight for more than a year since his diagnosis of Cancer.
Born in Salem, MA he was the son of the late James B. and Claire L. (Thibodeau) MacPherson. Allan was happily married to Susan M. (Nafis-Maldon) MacPherson of Port St Lucie, FL and was the proud father of two children, David Maldon and his wife, Julie of Jonesborough, TN and Teri (Maldon) Shoemaker and her husband, Mark of Port St Lucie, FL. Allan is also survived by his grandchildren, Colton and Connor Shoemaker; two sisters, Cheryl A. MacPherson of Danvers and Susan C. MacPherson-Dischino and her husband, Cosmo Dischino of Lake Worth, FL and nephews John, James and Jeff Cosimelli. Allan had many friends and clients that loved him and will all miss his gentle and kind spirit. He was also predeceased by his brother, Glenn R. MacPherson and sister, Laurie J. (MacPherson) Cosimelli.
A service will be held in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Allan will be laid to rest at Central Cemetery, Beverly with his mother, father, brother, Glenn and sister, Laurie. A reception will follow 12 -2 p.m. at 199A, Western Ave, Essex, MA 01929.
