East Bridgewater - Kathleen M. (Crowley) Dutra, 54, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Canton, died Monday, May 30, 2005, at the Life Care Center., West Bridgewater, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Donald J. Dutra.
Born April 30, 1951, in Canton, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Graham) Crowley of Canton and the late William Crowley.
Raised and educated in Canton, Mrs. Dutra was a graduate of Canton High School and also the Peabody School, where she became a licensed practical nurse.
She was a quality control inspector at Mueller Corp in East Bridgewater for 18 years.
Mrs. Dutra was a member of St. John Church in East Bridgewater and enjoyed gardening and knitting.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her three children, Manuel Dutra of E. Bridgewater, Patricia Dutra of Bridgewater and Sarah Dutra of E. Bridgewater; three sisters, Dorothy Sasin, Nancy McCloud and Mary Mann, all of Canton; four brothers, Timothy Crowley, William Crowley, Paul Crowley and Peter Crowley, all of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held in St. John Church Friday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours omitted. Burial will be at a later date in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Arrangements are by Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater.
