John Ray Sheeks
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, October 31, 2015, SFC John Ray Sheeks (U.S. Army Ret.), 57, loving husband to Quyen Sheeks.
He served in the United States Army for over 22 years. He was a devoted husband and loving father.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters April Brooke Sheeks and Allison Belle Sheeks; brothers: Franklin Jay Sheeks and wife Rose, Ronald Hugh Sheeks, Stephen Earl Sheeks and wife Melanie, Gerald Dwayne Sheeks and wife Jean-Marie; sister: Julia Viane Parish; 10 nieces; 3 nephews; and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Sheeks, Jr. and Nancy May Sheeks.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Jason Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
