Karen A. Smith, 54, of Stillwater Road in Smithfield, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Bernadette M. (Rainville) Smith.
She had lived in Smithfield her whole life. She was a member of Seven Hills RI. She loved going on motorcycle runs, dancing, children and dogs. More than anything she loved being with her family.
She leaves her sister, Jane M. Koscielniak of Smithfield, her brothers, Edward T. Smith of North Smithfield, Christopher J. Smith of Johnston, Kevin P. Smith of Johnston, Michael F. Smith of Smithfield, James J. Smith of Smithfield and Mark P. Smith of Coventry. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow in the RI Veteran’s Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-7pm.
