Ruth M. Morris
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, October 30, 2015, Mrs. Ruth M. Morris, 86, wife of Mr. Wade Roscoe Morris.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Reynolds, Indiana but lived in Augusta for the past 27 years. She worked as a secretary at several banks and met her husband while working at United States Rubber Company. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed golf and playing Bridge. Mrs. Morris was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Jeffrey S. Morris and wife Teresa; daughters: Patricia R. Willis and husband Robert, Pamela J. Heller and husband Mark and Kimberly J. Morris; sister: Janet El-Naggar; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Roger Schwartz and Pastor Karl Dunker officiating. Private burial services will follow.
