George A. “Junie” Caram, Jr., 80, of Medway, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Boniface) Caram for 45 years and loving father of Tricia Caram of Medway. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
Born in Milford on April 27, 1935, he was the son of the late George A. and Wafika (Raymond) Caram. Mr. Caram was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1952.
Before his retirement, Mr. Caram worked at General Dynamics in Needham and Westboro for 20 years. He had also owned the former Medway Package Store.
Mr. Caram served on the Medway Fire Department from 1954 -1988, retiring as Deputy Chief. He also served as a Medway special police officer during the 1960’s and 70’s.
Mr. Caram enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family and friends on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Monday, November 2 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m.
