Victor M. "Tito" Soto, 47, of Wareham died Friday October 23, 2015 at Tobey Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he lived in this area for the past 30 years.
Tito worked for many years as a fisherman and in local fish houses. He was also a baker before working in construction.
He enjoyed spending time with his sons.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne T. "Pokey" Trundy; his mother, Yolanda Herrera of Ceiba, Puerto Rico; three sons, Damian Trundy Velazquez, Victor D. Soto, and Benicen A. Soto, all of Wareham; two sisters, Edna Martinez and Myra Soto, both of Puerto Rico; a brother, Carlos Martinez of Orlando, Florida; his Goddaughter, Nevaeh Amaro of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 5, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford
