Jaime S. Medeiros, age 88 of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at the Somerset Ridge Center. Born in Santo Antonio, São Miguel, Açores, he was the husband of the late Elvira (Aguiar) Medeiros and the son of the late João and Maria (Mello) Medeiros. Prior to retiring, Jaime worked as a Custodian for the Foxboro Co. and was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
He is survived by his 2 sons: John Luis Medeiros (wife Ana) of Dartmouth, MA and Jaime Medeiros (wife Elaine) of Somerset, MA; lifelong friend Laurina Medeiros, siblings: Arturo Medeiros & Irene Oliveira both of Fall River, Maria do Carmo Bettencourt of São Miguel, Açores; 4 grandchildren; 1 great- grandchild; several nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late João and Jose Medeiros.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Friday 5-8 P.M.
