New Bedford - Evelyn E. (Nerbonne) Carney, 90, of Acushnet passed away October 6, 2015 at The Oaks.
Mrs. Carney was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Arthur and Helen M. (Rawston) Nerbonne, and resided in the greater New Bedford area most of her life. She was employed by Cape Cod Sport Wear, Inc. for 25 years and retired in 1987. She was a member of the Jolly Seniors of Acushnet. She enjoyed crocheting lap robes for local nursing homes and was a member of the birthday club with whom she had so many good times.
Survivors include a grandson, and her good friends: Susan Leclair, James Griffith and Krestina Heaton. She was mother of the late Arthur F. Lisko.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nate Gomes Community Center, Presidential Terrace, 23 Main Street, Acushnet
