Obituary

Anthony Thomas Colarusso, age 39, of Plymouth, died at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston on October 20, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Christina M. (Nesbitt) Colarusso. Born in Stoughton, MA on March 5, 1976, son of Joseph R. and Sharmon Lee (Apromollo) Colarusso of Plymouth. He was educated at Plymouth South High School and was a graduate with the Class of 1995. He entered the US Navy following his graduation and proudly served his country during the Global War on Terrorism. Following his passion, Anthony chose to join the Town of Plymouth Fire Department where he worked until his health no longer allowed him to. Tony loved motorcycles, cars and hiking. He was an avid Bruins fan and also enjoyed playing the drums as a few of his favorite hobbies. Besides leaving his wife Christina and his parents Joseph and Sharmon, Tony was the loving brother of Joseph Martin Colarusso of Eagle, CO. He was the dear nephew of Patricia Mitchell of Scituate and John Quinton of Randolph. He was the cherished son-in-law of Sharon Army and Bryan Roy of Sutton. He is also survived by numerous cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at the Davis Funeral and Cremation Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet) from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 10:00 from the Davis Funeral and Cremation Home followed by a Funeral Service in St. Bonaventure’s Church, State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet) at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne.
