Shawn E. McGlashing - A lifelong resident of Medford, passed away suddenly on October 20, 2015. He was 38.
Born in Cambridge, Shawn was raised in Medford and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1996. Following graduation, he went on to work in the construction industry. Shawn loved to make others laugh and enjoyed laughing with them. He was a kind and easygoing man. Above all, his family and friends came first. In his spare time he enjoyed Hockey and traveling to Jamaica.
The adored son of Steven and Regina (Camplese) McGlashing of Medford. Beloved brother of Michelle McGlashing of Medford, Steven McGlashing and his wife Leah of Tewksbury. Cherished grandson of Reggie Camplese of Cambridge. Loving uncle of Mason Moreira, Rachel and Tommy McGlashing. Devoted partner of ten years to Margaret Faretra of Everett. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., in Medford, on Tuesday, October 27th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 262 Washington St., in Somerville at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 26th from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Medford.
