Obituary

Janice A. (Murphy) Paquette, 68, of Manchester died peacefully October 17, 2015 after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester on October 23, 1946, she was the daughter of Edward and Wanda (Kanges) Murphy. She attended local parochial schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Springfield College.
Until her retirement, she had worked many years as a mental health counselor for Bedford Counseling Associates.
Janice will be remembered as a giving and compassionate person who enjoyed animals and cheering for the New England Patriots. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, including Bill W.
Family members include her daughter, Christine (Paquette) Kassin of Milford; her son, Matthew Paquette and wife Leanne of New York; her grandchildren, Murphy Lowery, Carissa Kassin and Lily Kassin; her siblings, Edward Murphy and wife Alyce of Manchester, Joseph Murphy of North Berwick, ME, Maureen Kolenski and husband Joseph of Manchester, Judith Machos of Manchester; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She also leaves behind her two beloved cats, Missy and Sadie.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, October 23, 2015 in St. Pius X Church, Candia Road. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
