New Bedford – Philomena Zuber, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the St Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Mary A. Soares and Ralph T. Leite.
She enjoyed to play bingo and loved to attend Church and to read.
She is survived by 4 daughters: Genevieve Lopes, Debra Fiola, Karen Mendonca and Elizabeth Zuber; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Philomena was predeceased by several siblings.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. with a service to begin at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
