Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Wednesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery W. Bridgewater.
Mrs. Bohlin died Thursday evening in the Cape Cod Hospital. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton graduating from St. Patrick School; she was the daughter of the late John and Belinda Pierce. Prior to her marriage to her husband Robert Beverly worked for the Treasury Dept. in Boston as well as the Natick Army Labs in Natick. After her marriage she spent many happy years raising her 2 sons Kenneth and Peter and while they were in school enjoyed volunteering at the Huntington School in Brockton and then as a Teachers Aide for a short time after.
Beverly had a longtime love for craft making and enjoyed the art of decorating, she loved music and reading, even after losing her sight to illness she would read her books on tape.
Beverly was known for her wonderful empathetic nature, making friends and often strangers feel very comfortable talking with her and seeking her counsel. She gave straight forward advice that many times could change the lives of those she came in contact with forging longtime relationships. She will be greatly missed.
