Obituary

Thomas P. Colarusso, 88, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, May 26, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth T. (Gabriel) who died four years ago.

Born and raised in Boston he settled in Medford over sixty years ago. He was the son of the late Marguerite (Uvana) and Joseph Colarusso. Thomas worked for over thirty four years as a electrician for the US Government, at the Boston Naval Shipyard retiring in 1976. He was a active member of the IEEE Electricians Union and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Surviving are his two daughters, Marguerite M. Kleinman and her husband Larry of Nashua , NH., Ann Marie Morris and her husband Carl A. Jr. of Virginia, a son, Joseph Colarusso and his wife Margaret A. of Nashua, NH., Also ten loving grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was the brother of Marion Zagarella of N. Abington and Helen Missiano of East Boston.

He was pre-deceased by ten sisters, Sadie Sulmonetti, Millie Turco, Jennie Gargano, Minnie Juliano, Louise Maffeo, Mary Rizzo, Netta Collins, Lucy Selvitella, Josie Schiaraffa and Margaret Contestible.

His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Tuesday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St. Malden - Medford at 10:30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
