James Marc "Jim" Kaster
October 17, 1955- October 15, 2015
James Marc "Jim" Kaster, 59, of Anderson died on October 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a 1 month illness.
He was born on October 17, 1955 in Anderson to James Dwight and Margaret (Gooding) Kaster.
He retired in 2008 after 31 years in production at General Motors. He graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1973. He enjoyed cooking and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Janalee (Dollar) Kaster whom he married in 1976; two children, Lindi (Russell) Bowman and Cody Kaster; mother-in-law, Marietta Dollar; 2 sisters, Joyce Aaron and Kathy Kaster; brother-in-law, Jeff (Cindy) Dollar; three nieces and nephews, Drew (Amy) Aaron, Scott Aaron, and Angela Kaster; two great nieces, Isabel and Ilena Aaron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara and Karen Kaster; and his father-in-law, Jack Dollar.
A memorial service will be held at East Side Church of God on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Carol Taylor officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12noon - 1:00pm on Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Jim's request is for you to enjoy a meal with your loved ones and give your server a generous tip or contributions may be given to the Animal Protection League.
