Bruce Francis Behan, of Medford, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 56.
Born and raised in Medford, Bruce attended local schools and graduated with the class of 1978. Following graduation, Bruce went on to work in Human Resources.
Bruce was a kind man and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his spare time watching television and playing the card game UNO. Bruce loved to host dinner parties with his partner Robert.
He was the beloved partner of nineteen years to Robert Shea of Medford. Cherished son of the late Bruce G. and Rose (Ficarelli) Behan who predeceased him. The loving brother of Joanne Foley of Rockland, Barbara Jenkins and her husband Jack of Medford. Dear uncle of Bryan Foley and his daughter Julia Rose Foley, both of Halifax. Longtime friend of Mike Boudreau of Medford and Julie Lupone of Medford. Bruce is also survived by his three cats, Clarice, Ralph and Alice.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street in Medford on Friday, October 16th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 9 - 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Medford.
