Frank E. Colasanto, 75, of Federal Way, Johnston, died Monday, October 12, 2015 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Immaculate (DeRobbio) Colasanto. Frank had been a District Manager for the Providence Journal having worked for the Providence Journal for forty years before retiring. Frank was an avid New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by his children, Frank Colasanto, of Cranston and Gina M. Lang and her husband, Richard, of Johnston. He was a devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren, Brittany, Cross, Christian, Anthony and Brenton. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Colasanto of Jamestown and Vincenza A. Wilson of Johnston, and his former wife, Joyce (D’Andrea) Colasanto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
