DUNCAN – Of Bridgewater formerly of Brockton, Richard B. “Dick”, age 82, May 25, 2005. Uncle of Geraldine Guenard of Halifax, Pamela Bachleda of Whitinsville, Robert Thomas of Eastham, and the late Rosemarie Belcher. Brother-in-law of Pauline Duncan of Bellingham. Also survived by many grandnieces and nephews. Funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St., (Rte 123), Brockton, Saturday, at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin. Visiting hours 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to service. Memorial donations maybe made in memory of Richard to a charity of one’s choice.
BRIDGEWATER – Richard B. “Dick” Duncan, age 82, of Bridgewater formerly of Brockton, died May 25, 2005 at West Roxbury VA Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Franklin a son of the late Herbert L. and Rose M. (Baxter) Duncan and had been a resident of Brockton since 1947. He was employed for many years with United Yarn Co. located in Brockton, and tended bar at George’s Café. Richard was a member of the Campello High Rise Association, and Saint Margaret’s Church. He is survived by two nieces Geraldine Guenard of Halifax, Pamela Bachleda of Whitinsville, a nephew Robert Thomas of Eastham, a sister-in-law of Pauline Duncan of Bellingham and many grandnieces and nephews.
Richard was the uncle of the late Rosemarie Belcher.
