RAYNHAM – Madeline “Lynn” (Corey) Silvia, wife of the late Francis Silvia, died at Rhode Island Hospital on Oct. 8, 2015.
She was 90 years old.
Born in North Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary Corey. A longtime Dighton resident, Lynn resided in Raynham for the past eleven years.
She was employed as an assistant aide at the former Paul A. Dever School for many years and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include a step daughter, Frances Davenport; a sister, Barbara O’Connell and her husband Walter of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also stepmother of the late Elizabeth Mosher, Kathy Flynn and her beloved Lori Ann Silvia.
She was also predeceased by six siblings, Irene Correia, Genevieve Farley and Mary, Alfred, Robert and Raymond Corey.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, Oct. 15th at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 5 to 8 p.m.
