William Thomas Buresh II, 55, of Salem, NH, passed on October 9th, 2015, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center surrounded by his loving family and dedicated medical team. Born on March 28th, 1960, in Boston MA, William was the son of the late William T. Buresh and Teresa (McCusker) Buresh. He grew up alongside five sisters in Peabody, MA and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School. He went on to graduate from Springfield College with degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts. William (also known as Bill) channeled his artistic talent and intellect into a career as a user interface engineer at Draeger Medical Systems in Andover, MA. Bill will be most remembered for his deep intellect and readiness to share his wisdom. Bill made it his mission to inspire confidence and self-worth, especially among his many karate students and athletes who he took great joy in coaching and mentoring. He loved the idiosyncrasies of all the people in his life and felt incredibly lucky to have loved and been loved by so many. He often remarked that each of his friends was his best friend. Among his survivors are his loving wife of 28 years, Leslie (Berube) Buresh, his children, Julia, Andrew and Alec; his sisters, Janice Sarnowski, Paula Colpitts and Lisa Collibee and his many nieces and nephews, each of whom he had a unique and treasured relationship with. Bill will be greeted in heaven by his sisters Judith Doyle and Kathleen Williams as well as their beloved parents. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 15th from 4:00-8:00pm at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home in Lawrence, MA. A funeral mass will be on Friday, October 16th at 10:30AM at Mary Queen of Peace Parish in Salem, NH.
