CHABOT Mildred died peacefully surrounded by family members in her Ashland home on October 10th. Mildred was born on September 10th, 1919 in Worcester to Selma and Carl Larson. Both her parents were immigrants from Sweden. She was the fifth of what would eventually be eleven Larson children. She married Charles A. Chabot, Jr., also of Worcester, on April 6th, 1943, in Jackson county, Florida, where Charlie was in training prior to serving in Europe during World War II.
Millie and Charlie had five children: Barry, Valerie, Wendy, Bob and Peter. Family was everything to Millie, and she was surrounded by it throughout her life. Charlie Chabot died on April 5th, 1980. Millie and her widowed sisters met often and sometimes traveled together, including once on a trip to their parents’ native Sweden. They were affectionately known in the family as the “Snoop Sisters” and are remembered for their good humor.
Millie is survived by her five children; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and five siblings. The family requests that donations be made to your local hospice in lieu of sending flowers.
