Obituary

Lois M. (Mahoney) Conway, 74, of Litchfield died October 9, 2015 at the Hospice House in Concord surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on July 6, 1941, she was the daughter of James and Kathryn (McDonnell) Mahoney. She attended St. Raphael Grammar School and St. Joseph High School for Girls. She earned her cosmetology degree from Houle’s Beauty Academy.
Lois most enjoyed time laughing with family and friends, her trips to Ireland, fashion, style, shopping and never missed an opportunity to hold a baby.
Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who cherished time spent with family.
Members of her family include her husband of 50 years, Joseph Conway of Litchfield; two sons, Joseph Conway and his wife Maria of Philadelphia, PA Christopher Conway of Coos Bay, OR; one daughter, Kathryn Conway of Litchfield; her grandchildren, Jack Callahan of Bedford, Shannon Lambert of Litchfield, Quinn and Kyliegh Conway, of Coos Bay; great-grandchildren, Liam and twins Madelyn and Mary Callahan; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends. She was predeceased by four brothers, Donald, William, James, and Richard Mahoney.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, at a later date.
