Robert (Bob) Cook, our loving father , and devoted husband to our mother, the late Ruth Cook, for 60 years and honorable man, passed away October 5, 2015. He was an honorable World War II and Korean veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and Commander of the American Legion.Robert was an avid motorcycle rider and devoted family man. He leaves behind his loving children Robert D. and Betty Cook of VA, Debra and Daren Brown of Plymouth, Cynthia L. Cook of Plymouth, Dianna and Thomas Keating of PA, and Susan R. Cook Parker of Plymouth. Bob leaves thirteen loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 9th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at the Halifax Congregational Church, 503 Plymouth St (Rt. 106) on Saturday, October 10th at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Central cemetery in Halifax.
