West Boylston - Eleanor Claire (Tacy) Leavitt, 88, of West Boylston passed away from natural causes on Friday August 28th in the comfort of her home.
Her husband H. Norman Leavitt died in 1974. She leaves her daughter, Christine L. Leavitt and her grandson, Christopher L. Leavitt of West Boylston. Eleanor was born in West Boylston and spent the vast majority of her life in the town.
Eleanor worked as librarian at Beaman Memorial Public Library in West Boylston, and retired from there in 1999. She was very skilled at many different crafts, loved the North Shore of Massachusetts, and was an avid bird lover.
There will be no calling hours and a private burial will be held at High Plains Cemetery in Oakdale, Massachusetts. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
