Clayton Robinson “Robbie” McMillan, Jr., 60, of Alapaha passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Pete Jones officiating. Mr. McMillan will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday, October 9, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. McMillan was born September 5, 1955 in Irwin County, the son of Clayton Robinson McMillan, Sr. and Vivian Geraldine Baker Metts McMillan, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Marie McMillan. He was a member of Enigma Baptist Church.
Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Griffin McMillan of Alapaha; a son, Jerome McMillan of Nashville; a daughter, Rosa Lynn McMillan of Alapaha; two brothers, Jake McMillan of Sparks and Ray McMillan; three sisters, Vivien Tucker of Irwinville and Kitty Stone and Sarah Jane Jackson, both of Alapaha; and two grandsons, Zachary McMillan and Johnathan McMillan.
