Kerri Anne Burke (Silva), age 36, of Medway, formerly of Dorchester/South Boston, died suddenly on September 9, 2015 due to complications with diabetes.
Kerri Ann was to everybody exactly what they needed; which meant something different to each person, but to her loved ones “Momma Bear”. She began her life as a daughter, born on March 28, 1979 to her loving parents, Diana Burke and the late James Jolliemore, and was raised by her uncle Patrick Burke (Pops). Kerri soon became a sister to Kristen and Steven. In her youth, she was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. After turning 16 and in “Kerri” fashion, she declared her independence! It was during this time she met and fell in love with Frank Silva, who soon became her best friend, confidant, lover, husband and father of her children, Ciara, Maris, Cassidy, Taya and Frankie Jr.
Kerri enjoyed a successful career as a stay at home mom for 19 years. She especially loved camping and Halloween, leaving pumpkins up well into Christmas. Her favorite foods were meals made by her husband Frank.
Kerri is survived by her loving husband, Frank Silva and her beloved children; Ciara, Maris, Cassidy, Taya and Frank, Jr.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; countless cousins and many special friends.
