Madelyn B. Livingston, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M., Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Tommy Land, Jr., and Rev. Danny Lovett officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Livingston was born February 22 1920, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late William Abram and Annie Elizabeth Rooks Batton. She lived in the community all of her life. Mrs. Livingston was a homemaker and a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear for eighteen years. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by a great-niece: April Wilcher of Warner Robins and many friends, including, Ronn Miller and Wendell Patton, both of Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Livingston.
