Timothy J. “TJ” Martinez Jr., 24, of Londonderry, NH passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. He was born on January 10, 1991 in Boston, a son of Timothy J. and Patricia (O’Keefe) Martinez. Timothy was a long-time resident of Londonderry and a graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2009. While in high school he excelled in several sports, including basketball which he had a passion for.
He continued his education at the University of Rhode Island, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business in 2013. TJ worked as a Financial Representative for Fidelity Investments.
He is survived by his parents of Londonderry, his brother, Nicholas Martinez, very special friend Meghan Hickey, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Alice and John J. Martinez Jr. formerly of Medford, MA and his maternal grandparents, Mary E. and Richard E. O’Keefe formerly of Arlington, MA.
Calling hours were held on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 4 to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00am at St. Mark’s Church, One South Road, Londonderry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry.
