Robert E. Rose, 52, of Derry, NH, died Monday, May 23, 2005 in the Brigham & Womens Hospital, Boston, MA. Mr. Rose was born in Lowell, MA on September 2, 1952, a son of Esther (Girten) Rose and the late George J. Rose. He was a resident of Derry for 14 years, formerly living in Windham, NH and Candia, NH. Mr. Rose was currently employed by Voortman Cookies as a sales manager. He loved to boat, golf, camp and fish at his camp in Moultonborough, NH.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Acton) Rose of Derry, three daughters, Karyn Rose of MO, Michelle Rose of MO, Lauren Rose of Derry, three grandchildren, Hallee, Christopher and Dylani all of MO, his mother, Esther (Rose) Belville of Rockland, MA, four brothers, George Rose and his wife Suzanne of Rockland, MA, Richard Rose and his wife Kathy of FL, Bruce Rose and his wife Mary Ann of Waltham, MA, Brian Rose and his wife Kathy of Merrimack, NH, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews ,cousins and friends, brother-in-law, Edward Acton and his wife Loretta of New York, NY, three sisters-in-law, Susan Cavallo of Londonderry, NH, Barbara Halbmaier and her husband John of Windham, and Anne Abramo and her husband Vincent of Melrose, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 27th at 10:00am in Holy Cross Church, 187 Hampstead Rd., Derry. The burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 66 Hanover St., Suite 101, Manchester, NH.
