Mary R. Chandler, 92

Mary R. (Cazzarini) Chandler, age 92, of Wrentham passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, on Friday, September 25, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Chandler, to whom she was wed for 59 years at the time of his death on October 4, 2013.
Born in Boston, MA on July 15, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Guieseppina (Magnani) Cazzarini.
Mary spent her childhood living in Boston. As a teenager she moved to Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School. She continued her education, graduating from the Fisher College Secretarial School.
A resident of Wrentham for the past 54 years, Mrs. Chandler was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, and when younger had worked as an executive secretary for a manufacturing company in Franklin.
Mary enjoyed reading, sewing and particularly keeping up on current affairs. When younger, she enjoyed spending summers along with her family in Duxbury.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Pauline E. Brennan-Chandler of West Bridgewater. She was the dear sister in law of Patricia A. O’Malley and her husband Richard of Mansfield, John A. Chandler of Westerly, RI, Thomas A. Chandler and his wife Sarah of Walpole, and the late Catherine R. Washburn and Eleanor Hoogerzeil. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 30th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Mansfield.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday morning prior to the funeral Mass from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Mary’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to Hope Health Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
