Jean Dukins St. Jilus died on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
Dukins St. Jilus was born on November 22, 1969 to Arnold and Viergelie St. Vilius in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Dukins migrated from Haiti in 2000 to be with the rest of his family. As a young man Dukins finished his plumber's apprenticeship in 2003. Then he worked for Metro Cab for many years, before transitioning to working for himself through Uber. Dukins was the devoted husband of Farva St. Jilus, and devoted father of Kerly and Nick St. Jilus. Dukins is also survived by his brothers Oniel, Mario, Frantz, Gerald; sisters Magalie, Monique and Martine. He also leaves behind 19 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday September 24th from 7-9PM at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th at 9AM at the Mount des Oliviers (Mt. of Olives) 1285 Hyde Park Ave., Hyde Park, Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery
