QUINCY - Joyce Mary Cicero, age 51, died unexpectedly at her Quincy home on Thursday, September 23, 2015.
She was born in Cambridge, in October 1963, a daughter of Jean Marie (French) Cicero of Tewksbury and the late George Henry Cicero. She was raised in Brighton, and graduated from Waltham High School. She earned a certificate as an Emergency Medical Technical and had worked as an E.M.T. for the Stavis Ambulance Company several years ago.
Joyce was remembered for her love of cats.
Besides her mother, she leaves four sisters, Dorothy L. Carson and her husband George of Billerica, Brenda J. Swain of Marlborough, Christine M. Bullis of Tewksbury, Catherine Austin of CA; a brother, Ralph J. Cicero of Waltham; several aunts and uncles including Joyce and Paul Gagnon of FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and was preceded in death by her brother, George H. Cicero Jr.
Visiting hours Monday, September 28, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her Funeral Service will follow on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Buddy Dog Humane Society, 151 Boston Post Rd., Sudbury, MA 01776 are encouraged.
