Robert S. Stafford, age 87, of Plymouth, formerly of Cape Cod for over 25 years, died September 19th at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of the late Anne E. (MacKay) Stafford. He is survived by his step daughter Nancy Glynn, of Florida and his nephew James MacKay and his wife Tracy, as well as their 3 children. Robert was born in Boston MA on December 25, 1927, and was one of 10 children. He went on to serve in the United States Navy during WWII, and spent his career as a postal worker in Boston. Cremation by the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St. Plymouth. A service will be held at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday Sept. 25th at 9:30 am.
