Bennett, Theresa Marlene (Hardison), 67, a lifelong resident of Louisville entered eternal life Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
Theresa was born on May 14, 1948 in Jefferson County to Arlo and Rachel (Thomas) Hardison.
She was a homemaker and won many hearts through her cooking skills, loved to play Bingo, and was well known for her Christmas gatherings, where everyone was openly welcomed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Alice Louise who was born and passed in 1939; a dear aunt, Vonda Mae (Thomas) Gayhardt; two brothers-in-law, Charles Hunt, and George Owens.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Benny; a daughter, Lisa Gail Kitchen; a son, Harold Davis Kitchen Jr.; a grandson, Justin Anthony; a precious great-granddaughter, Kinnedi; two brothers, Robert “Wayne” (June), and Thomas A.“Tommy” (Peggy Sue) Hardison; three sisters, Charlotte F. Hunt, Deanna G. “Dee Dee” Owens, and Pamela K. “Pam” Krider (Phil); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday 1:00PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, burial is in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 2:00-8:00PM.
