John F. Smith 55, of Providence St. died Saturday, September 19, 2015 unexpectedly. He was the husband of Christine (Biron) Smith. Born in Framingham, he was a son of the late John G. and Louella (Boudreau) Smith.
John was a heavy equipment operator for Global Enterprises. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. He had great love and compassion for his family and friends, and was willing to lend a helping hand at the drop of a hat.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons John P. Smith and Joseph G. Smith both of Woonsocket, a brother Robert Smith of Bellingham, and three sisters Geraldine Reilly of Mendham, NJ, Cynthia Pagnotta of Edison, NJ, and Mary Lou Lutfy of Milford, MA.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday September 25th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
