Lucille F. Bouvier 86, of Mendon Rd. died Friday, September 18, 2015 at Mt. St. Rita’s Health Centre. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Bouvier. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Emelienne (Proulx) Boudreau. For most of her life Lucille was a homemaker. In her youth she worked in several area textile mills. She later worked as the supervisor of the dietary aides at Woonsocket Health Center before her retirement. Lucille enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. She loved tending to her flower garden, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons Paul Bouvier and his wife Rachel of Blackstone, Robert Bouvier and his companion Debra Robinson of Woonsocket, a daughter Denise Pomfret of Coventry, four grandchildren, Eric and Steven Bouvier, and Erin and Kevin Pomfret, and three great-grandchildren Lauren, Evan, and Genevieve. She was predeceased by her siblings, Simone Cardinal, Alice Lesage, and Robert and Joseph Boudreau, daughter-in-law Barbara Bouvier, and son-in-law Richard Pomfret.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
