Augusta – Mrs. Jean Graves Barnes, 84, beloved wife of the late Albert LeRoy Barnes, Jr., entered into rest on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Edward C. Rees IV, the Rev. Hal Hodgens and Chaplain Ellis Moore officiating. Friends are invited to the Fellowship Hall of the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Barnes was a member of Marks Baptist Church before becoming a member at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian. During her membership at each church, she was a very loyal and active member.
She is survived by a sister in law; Virginia Barnes Beasley, and three cousins; Marilynn Jane Cardinale, Robin Happy and Camille Anne Altgelt.
