Jillian M. (Doherty) McLaughlin, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her home. She was 36 years old.
Jillian was born in Boston on January 10, 1979, a daughter of Joseph F. Doherty and Frances T. (Nardone) Doherty. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Catherine's Parochial School and graduated from Matignon High School in Cambridge in 1997. She furthered her education and attended Suffolk University for 2 years. Jillian worked as a Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for over 15 years. Jillian was a very passionate mother who was so very proud of her 3 children and their accomplishments.
Jillian is the wife of Timothy McLaughlin. She is the loving mother to Jaden McLaughlin, Ava McLaughlin and Peyton McLaughlin. She is the devoted daughter of Joseph F. Doherty and Frances T. (Nardone) Doherty. She is the beloved sister of Jamie Strickland and Paul Doherty. She is the beloved granddaughter of Lena Doherty. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jillian's Funeral on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
